Mrs. Kaul and Me
Mrs. Anjuli Kaul was my IB History HL teacher in the 11th and 12th Grades. Class consisted of about 5 people by the end of it, and I was the only one who ended up dropping my History IB. Mrs. Kaul didn't try and stop me because she understood. I didn't say anything to her, but still she did. I am eternally grateful to her for that. In fact, before we left school at the end of 12th Grade, we went to her house for lunch one day, and there she gave me this book. The book was Illusions by Richard Bach. Read it if you haven't. It was a source of inspiration at that time, and it's something that I've kept in my heart...because I loaned the book to someone and never got it back. :-( Anyway, Mrs. Kaul, if you're reading this, well, you'll realize I haven't kept in touch, but I wish you all the best in your Ph.D. Thank you for everything.
By the way, we're sitting in front of the plaque which states the school's name. It's by the main gate, and to my right (out of picture) is the Watchman's bunk. This was one of the last pictures that I took in Kodai, and it seemed to be a fitting way to end the trip.
