An Interesting Proposition: Pt. 7

We now come to some of the speakers who were present at this "town hall" event. I didn't manage to get Christopher to take pictures of all the members, but here are three of them. The one that got away, so to speak, is a lawyer who spoke the longest, was witty, and seemed to be on the verge of getting beaten up by a soon-to-be-enraged mob. His topic? He was explaing the rights of a consumer in court, as it related to sales of spurious goods and non-standarization practices. Why was he in danger of receiving a beating? Because he seemed to make light of some, honestly, ridiculous issues that were raised. But, I digress, as always. Here's the first speaker: Mr. K. Sukumaran. Introduced sans photo in an earlier post, Mr. Sukumaran is a well-mannered, soft-spoken gentleman. Also, as President of the Punnakamugal Residents' Association, he is well respected and looked up to. In fact, with all the audio equipment present, I'm sure he was well heard all over his domain too!

Next, is a gentleman whose name I don't recall. Unfortunately for him, he didn't seem to remember the names of some of the speakers, even though they were written down on the piece of paper he was holding.

Finally, here's my colleague, Mr. Chettur Rajagopal Nair. A well-spoken, distinguished gentleman, he has a knack for gaining the audience's attention with a witty remark here and a rib-tickler there. This picture finds him in animated exposition about the dire need for good communication skills in the world today. He's a glib talker, and while there are some things that I think I can learn from him, there are others that I don't ever wish to pick up. ;-)

And that brings me to the end of this, the penultimate "An Interesting Proposition" post.

I'd like to thank my friend and colleague, Chris, for taking these pictures. Thanks man.
