Just when it looked like the media was done having its field day with this case, along come another set of articles to bring things back. Now, the witch hunt -- if I can call it that -- seems to have turned to those who were associated with the accused. When will this end? Who knows. But, it's quite obvious someone somewhere is enjoying this little spectacle. It's either that or the fact that they have it in for this drunken duo and all those who helped them get away scot-free.
I hope you noticed the inconsistency between the articles regarding the number of people summoned. If you count the people mentioned in the first article, taken from The Hindu, there are only three people. I guess there's a limit to how much you can try and hype a situation, eh? Oh, that's unless of course one of "the accused" now finds himself brought down in level of importance; low enough to just, please visit a police station and explain his side. Someone should kick my ass for following up this veritable soap opera in print!
