Signed up on Twitter and thought I'd give it a whirl. So far so good, or shall I say, so interesting. Added a widget/gadget/something-or-the-other to the sidebar of this blog, and so far, I've enjoyed making some random "tweets" as the messages are called. Seems pretty nifty. And there seems to be plenty of scope for being able to use this kind of thing in the near future. Who knows, maybe a always-coming-home-late spouse can let her or his significant other know where they're at by Twittering...because it seems cheaper than SMSing. And sure fools like me use it for all sorts of nonsense, or to just let the world know that we're walking from points A to B, one step at a time. However, this service seems to hold a lot more promise than just that. First up, you're limited to 140 characters per message, so unlike some of these term-paper posts that I write on this blog, you have to keep it short. Just little tidbits of information. That's all. Cool? Only time will tell. Until then, however, you're going to get an insight into what people do in their lives. Twitter, of course! How else would they be updating their this-is-what-I'm-doing-right-now messages?
Here's some more information about it if you want to check it out, in text and video formats. Better yet, why not just check it out at the end of this post.

So, what're YOU doing? ;-)
