There are two graves in the yard here at Sri Vilas. They are the final resting places of Kalandi Govindan and his wife Indrani. They were affectionately known as "Kalandi elayappan" and "Kalandi elayamma", which if you account for Kalandi being the family name translates to "uncle" and "aunt". There was a photograph of them that I remember seeing, but unfortunately, it hasn't survived the humidity.
I don't know about you, but looking at the house with these graves in the foreground gives this pictures an eerie feel. Either that, or it's a little South Indian Addam's Family. ;-)
